Seriously, if you fall like 2 meters the game acts like you just somersaulted Adam off a cliff. Don't ever fall off a ledge in this game. Also, it would have been nice to see how other things (e.g economy, finance, politics, etc) function in the DXHR world. Everyone and their mother has some deep insight into it, which seems a little bit weird. The main conversations you have with NPC's are solely about augmentations or augmentation related business. ![]() There's a nice touch of world building through the journals scattered through the world and computer entries. + Level design is great - there's a healthy amount of stuff for you to keep your supplies stocked and there's a number of ways to approach any problem. A soothing ambient track will slowly transition into a more stressed and action piece depending on what you're doing. Just as above, it really manages to capture this dichotomy of being an agent operating on an individual scale and at the same time the colossal scale of the 'bigger picture' themes. You'll see a wide variety of places and the environment is definitely a major part of what pulls you into the game world. Appropriately, this is also when the game started to feel a lot more serious. Deus Ex Human Revolution Recap Part 1Īs part 1 ends and part 2 begins, the recap videos take on a much more serious tone. They are well worth watching for a better understanding of the key players and their roles in the Deus Ex story. No matter how you played Human Revolution, the videos perfectly sum every part of the story for a total runtime of 13-minutes. It is narrated by Adam Jensen, series protagonist and general bad-ass. The Story Recap videos are perfect for those of you who have played the previous games and would like a ‘refresher’ before playing the new game or for those who are interested to learn more about the story before possibly buying Mankind Divided. Human Revolution is one of my all-time favourite games. Unlike the previous instalments that take place in a more futuristic setting, Deus Ex: Human Revolution is set in the year 2027, where human augmentation is. Basically, this refreshes your augmented Deus Ex Memory. As such, Square Enix and Eidos Montreal have released a couple of videos that recap the story of Human Revolution perfectly. Square Enix and Eidos Montreal know that not everyone has had the chance to play Deus Ex Human Revolution which is a complete travesty, if you ask me, as the franchise is fantastic.
